The local elections will be interesting. We wonder if our governor will be indicted, even as he beats Jujujudy barr topinka to retain his office.

It is weird, even in a group of commited dems and liberals, to hear this:
"If only we had a real governor . . . ."

here. She should be a role model for other govs. Wasn't always this way. We have had our share of embarassments. Ev Meecham, the "pickininny" asshole, the now cook educated at whatever cooking school can't even think of his name I hated him so badly. Downtown is still paying a price for what he did to the Mercado.
