Any ideas on what we could do to help take the House or Senate?
I'm starting to get more hopeful than I was a couple of months ago.

Is there more hope for the House or the Senate? Is there a race or two were a few bucks might help? Any other ideas on what we might do?

Think, if we could take the House and the Senate, Bush is done for. We start undoing the damage.

1. Contribute to a grassroots progressive Democrat: Bryan Kennedy
He is running against Sensenbrenner in WI-5 for a second time, and he really has a chance to win this seat! I have been working on his campaign since March, and he is an absolutely wonderful candidate: articulate, ethical, good at talking to and working with other people.

And he's a fiscal conservative, spending campaign contributions carefully!

Check him out at www.bk2006.org

2. Throw Diebold and ES&S election theft machines into 'Boston Harbor' NOW!
--if you really want to take the House and Senate.

How do we do that?

MASSIVE Absentee Ballot voting this November! BOYCOTT the machines! Put the fear of God into these corrupt election officials! FLOOD them with MOUNTAINS of paper AB votes! Create sufficient panic and crisis in the election theft industry to FORCE them to reform NOW--and thus save the '08 primaries and general election from TRADE SECRET, PROPRIETARY vote tabulation, owned and controlled by Bushite corporations! THAT's when we take back the House and Senate. In '08, when we take back the White House. It's not possible to get accurate vote counts this year (even with AB votes, which aren't "safe" either). At best (and if they're smart), they'll throw us a few sops, but nothing near the national anti-Mideast war, anti-Bush majority.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND that we suffered a fascist coup during the 2002-2004 period, with the installation of these NON-TRANSPARENT, INVERIFIABLE, BUSHITE CORPORATE CONTROLLED* electronic voting systems all over the country. That WAS the coup. If you're going to force an unjust, illegal war down the throats of the people, in a democracy, you must rig the elections. That's what they did. It was a bill out of the Anthrax Congress, engineered by major crooks, Tom Delay, Bob Ney and Christopher Dodd, which appropriated nearly $4 billion for the fast-track conversion to extremely insecure, insider hackable electronic voting systems--voting machines that are putting a 5% to 10% "thumb on the scales" for Bushites and warmongers.

And now we have to UN-rig it--against great odds. The only way I can see of doing that peacefully, and quickly, is by a huge citizen rebellion against the rigged machines. AB voting is catching on fast--there has been a huge increase in it (it's up to 50% in Los Angeles, where they have one of the worst Diebold shills as head of elections). Make it big! Everywhere! Do it now! REBEL!

Bust the Machines--Vote Absentee!

------------------------------------

*(And they are: DIEBOLD: Until recently, headed by Wally O'Dell, a Bush-Cheney campaign chair and major fundraiser (a Bush "Pioneer," right up there with Ken Lay), who promised in writing to "deliver Ohio's electoral votes to Bush-Cheney in 2004"; and ES&S: A spinoff of Diebold (similar computer architecture), initially funded by rightwing billionaire Howard Ahmanson, who also gave one million dollars to the extremist 'christian' Chalcedon Foundation (which touts the death penalty for homosexuals, among other things). Diebold and ES&S have an incestuous relationship; they are run by two brothers, Bob and Todd Urosevich.

These are the people who "counted" 80% of the nation's votes in 2004, under a veil of corporate secrecy. They are even more entrenched now. They even got California--by "swiftboating" our good Secretary of State, Kevin Shelley, out of office on entirely bogus corruption charges. Shelley had sued Diebold for their lies about the security of their machines, de-certified the worst of their machines (the touchscreens) prior to the 2004 election, and demanded to see their source code. Schwarzenegger then APPOINTED a Republican, Diebold shill Bruce McPherson, who is quickly undoing all Shelley's work on election integrity. We must act NOW! Don't vote on these machines!)

8. You have the key!
I'm of the opinion that the Repubs know what's coming, so they want this voting machine fiasco and when it goes badly for them, they will challenge on the basis of defective voting machines. They now pretty much control the justice system, so will stall the whole process for years maybe.

3. I've found that winning elections helps...
...as well as representing the constituency we have as opposed to campaigning to the constituency some of our candidates WISH they had.

The most effective Dems are in Central California, the red/purple middle of a blue state. Still get progressive things done, but represent mostly EVERYONE well in their district, and don't go out of their ways to purposely piss conservatives off.

4. Stop fighting each other. Stop throwing votes away
on pie-in-the-sky primary candidates, or in third parties.

6. If we had maybe a hundred thousand people they couldn't shoot all of us...
... could they?

But first let's TP the White House and hope it rains. I want to see George W. Bush clean up that mess!
