Did Malloy say "Fuck" on Tuesday's Randi Rhodes show?

I got in my car after work on Tuesday around 5:15 and as the radio popped on, I heard Malloy say "-uck". Honest to God, I missed the first consonant. He followed whatever he said with "Do you think that's enough foul language for this administration, Kathy?" I remember thinking, oh shit, I hope he didn't say what I thought he just said.

Can anyone who listened to Tuesday's show clarify what was said during the 5 o'clock segment of the Randi Rhodes Show?

On edit: I listen on XM satellite radio, which is not censored.

On furthur edit: He did NOT say "fuck". I misheard him.

7. That is at odds with the reason given - financial. Did AAR say

financial or did they have a list of grievances and took a legal shortcut of the safe kind? Did Kathy say financial and AAR said something else? Did AAR and the Malloys have an agreement to say it was financial? So ... the real story is ...........? It matters. It matters in the way Malloy supporters look at AAR. If it's financial, the supporters are going to be against AAR (or any new advertisers who are asking for changes?)

Personally, I can't seem to figure out the subtleties of saying the word - I hear it abuot seven times in a minute on some cable shows. I hear it a lot on DU. I didn't know I wasn't hearing it on radio. I'm confused. Malloy only does radio - right?

10. "Financial reasons" might have nothing to do with his salary —

it could be advertisers or FCC fines. (FCC has no jurisdiction for cable, which is why you can hear rougher language.)

You do realize that saying "FUCK" on the radio could get the FCC down on your neck and a station could lose its licence.

President Bush recently signed the Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act, increasing the potential fines for broadcasting indecent material by a factor of 10. The former max - a mere pittance at $32,500 per violation - is history. Now you're looking at a much heftier $325,000 per violation, up to a limit of $3 million per day.

This massive increase in potential fines, along with an aggressive (and unpredictable) enforcement stance by the FCC, should inspire every broadcaster to review its programming and operations policies to minimize the risk that a stray off-color remark paints their balance sheet red.

either last Thursday or Friday and it came across on the internet - but "they" hit the delay button and it didn't make it out over the air - I checked the archives on that one and the callers slip wasn't there - hopefully if Mike did say it they hit the delay button and it didn't make it out over the air waves
