this is kind of tangential to the current context, but it is interesting to me that "alternative" 9/11 explanations are derided as conspiracy theories, when the official story is also a conspiracy theory.

Somehow, Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda are considered capable of conspiring, but the bushistas are above all suspicion on the matter...

Whether due to conspiracy or sheer idiocy on their respective parts, bush & company milked those attacks for all they were worth, and the people who caused the planes to hit the towers were used as a lever for the neo-conservative agenda.

insinuating that someone snuck into the WTC and prepared the two towers for demolition and then waited for planes to fly into them as a cover for the demo is a weee bit over the top, IMHO.

This tale was implied in the MM video.
