I wonder how Randi Rhodes feels about what happened to Malloy?
I can only imagine how Randi reacted and feels about the news of the firing of Mike Malloy. I know she probably won't say anything when she returns to the airwaves for obvious reasons. It would be nice if she would rant about it. That being said, I am also concerned she will be next on the AAR chopping block. If they do get rid of Randi and Sam Seder than you might as well kiss Air America goodbye. I suppose it's been a great run. Maybe there will be a splinter network started. As for Mike, I hope he will get a gig with Sirius satellite radio. I think I could see Malloy flourish there.

1. She adores Mike
I have a feeling she's been screaming at management since the firing.

2. I have wondered if they didn't time it for her vacation
Like you said, she probably won't say anything when she returns, but they may have been afraid of her immediate reaction. They have got to know how well loved and admired Malloy is, that people are going to be pissed off in a big way.

I too am concerned for what they have in store for Randi. :scared:

3. The people are reacting.
And there is a lot of anger going around. Like I said, AAR just shot themselves in the foot by sacking Malloy. I am afraid they may even not recover from this. Just a stupid, STUPID move!

4. Yeah, and didn't the Malloys just have a vacation as well?
Maybe timing has nothing to do with it since they are re-signing contracts and reworking airtime schedules, but it seems cruel to fire someone when they just got back from vacation.

5. Randi gets good ratings. She most likely isn't in any jeopardy...
