The Mike Malloy Petition ...
how does the whole thing work (I signed it, by the way). What I want to know is .. do they forward it periodically to Air America executives? Is the individual who put the Petition up going to let the signatures collect for awhile, and then forward it to Air America?

I'm just thinking. I'm 48, and have been involved in various businesses over the years. It sure would intimidate me, if I were a CEO, and over 6,000 people were stating I'd made a bad move. I'd be thinking of the thousands that didn't sign, but wanted him on (how many listeners each signature indicated were really out there).

Thanks in advance for any replies and information.

2. I hear ya,' DemNoir.
I'll follow him wherever he ends up. I hope it's on XM.

Thanks for the update; I did see it on Bartcop.

I still, if I were an AAR exec, would be kicking myself at this point; however, I wouldn't be an AAR exec ... 'cause I have brains and do not represent Pure Greed!

4. not a lost cause
that petition is going to be very impressive on Mike Malloy's resume. Other radio networks will definitely notice it, and see an opportunity to pull in more subscribers and even bring in more progressive/liberal programming, like Stephanie Miller. It will also help Mike negotiate a nice deal, one that pays much better than the pocket change AAR gave him (pocket change compared to Al Franken's salary, that is...)

6. Very true
Hell, sales reps can show this as proof of Malloy's support base. This can only help.

5. Air America Minnesota picks up Jones Radio Network sometimes
They get Stephanie Miller and Ed Schultz. I can only hope that Malloy goes over to them, and AAR-MN picks him up again!
