When I read his words, I remember my reaction to Al Gore's movie.
As I sat in that theatre, tears streamed down my cheeks at least three times.
And trust me, although global warming is scary, I wasn't crying for the polar ice caps (I might yet).
I was crying for our loss.
Intelligence isn't a piece of paper handed to a president.

Intelligence isn't in the heads of state.
Intelligence is in the state of the head. And the heart.

All I could think about was "this man should be the President" and "if he was the President so many people wouldn't be dead."

I hear Rocky's words and I think the same thing.
If only somebody with a podium, a microphone, a camera planted in his or her face had said simply NO.
In a way that was true and intelligent and articulate.
