Salem Oregon event will conflate war on Iraq with Sept 11th 2001

Local news this evening reported that on the aniversery of Sept 11th, there will be flag displays in Oregon's capitol of Salem. There will be a flag with the name of everyone who died on Sept 11th, there will be a flag with the names of police and fire fighters who died on Sept 11th, and there will be a flag of all of the soldiers who have died in Iraq.

What about in everyone else's area? Are there events in other cities that will conflate the war on Iraq & Sept 11th?

2. It looks like I had the wrong time...sorry

I went to their website and didn't see it anywhere. They showed video of people preparing the flags but they didn't identify the group. It sounds as though it will be a state or city sponsered event. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I would love to take action to stop this, but I'm not sure who to contact. I'm a little concerned that action to stop this could appear disrespectful to the families of 911 or the soldiers. If you have any advice please get back to me.
