Bush’s Salt Lake Whoppers...
'Did you catch Bush’s speech to the American Legion on Thursday?
It was another warm-up to the Iran War, with Bush rehearsing some of the same old lines he once used to whip up a frenzy over Iraq.

Just as he once called Iraq a “grave threat,” he said in Salt Lake City that “the world now faces a grave threat from the radical regime in Iran.”

My favorite line of the whole speech was this: “Governments accountable to the voters focus on building roads and schools—not weapons of mass destruction.” If that’s true, Bush ought to start unilaterally disarming our 10,000 nuclear weapons, or simply confirm that our government is not accountable to the voters. Just as he once fused Al Qaeda and Iraq, so he is fusing Al Qaeda and Iran.' http://www.commondreams.org/views06/0902-21.htm

1. Most people couldn't believe that the president would stand up

and tell lie after lie, when Bush and his crew were selling the invasion of Iraq. Now most understand that Bush lied time after time in the 02-03 pre invasion hyping of the faked evidence against Iraq. And they know that Tony Blair lied too.

The boys have cried Wolf to often to be trusted again. We bit off a bigger chunk than we can chew in Iraq. Iran is a much bigger chunk than Iraq was. Our military is weaker than it was before we invaded Iraq. The only hope Bush has here, is help from the UN, or causing a nuclear exchange, which could get out of hand in the end and go global.

We all see now, how poorly Rummy's "office of special plans"/PNAC, planned out what to do in Iraq. Will the world and the people in this country trust them to plan another aggressive invasion of yet another country.

Iraq is costing BILLIONS a week, that we don't have already. WHERE will the money come from to fund the invasion of IRAN? Will the rich folks give back all those tax cuts to fund the new war? Will the rich folks send their kids to fight this new war in Iran?

I think Bush is playing POLITICS with Iran...just like he did with Iraq. I don't think the world will buy his lies again.

3. It's up to us, to raise enough hell, to stop him this time, OR...
it could be lights out for the people of planet Earth.

I have no doubt whatsoever, that Bush is a mental case and so are the people he has gathered around him.

I think the public is aware now, of Bushco's total instability and ineptitude and that will help us stop the madness.
