As in repressed homosexual? Could be true in many cases. I've always wondered how gay haters would fare if their levels of sexual arousal were measured, while they watched adult gay films. Wouldn't be too shocked if some of them went right off the charts.

I don't have a reference, but I think I saw it posted at DU. A study was done, and subjects who were most negative about homosexualtiy showed a greater arousal at homo-erotic stimuli than other heterosexuals.

To say that all homophobes are gay means that only gay people are victims and victimizers... Homophobia is some strange gay problem that gay people do to themselves. Straight people are perfectly capable of gay bashing.

If you found that study, (I didn't look for it) you are posing some questions for extended study. I think there are nuances and shades here which are areas that could be explored. It would bother me to say that all homophobes are (latent) gays. But who knows?
