Video: New mysterious photos of lost boy, Johnny Gosch
http://www.rawstory.com/news/2006/Video_New_mysterious_photos_of_lost_0904.html

Please note: Some viewers may find the photos in this video report disturbing.

24 years ago, Johnny Gosch of Des Moines Iowa disappeared while delivering newspapers. He was 12 years old at the time. Noreen Gosch, Johnny's mother, has made it her life's mission to find her son.

Last week, Noreen Gosch found photos of Johnny placed on her doorstep. In the photos, Johnny is bound and gagged. He is wearing the same sweatpants that he was wearing when he went missing 24 years ago.

Noreen Gosch has long thought that her son was abducted into slavery by pornographers. The Des Moines police say that they have found no evidence to substantiate the Noreen's suspicions.

1. That story was in our local newspaper yesterday! I was amazed!
and I'm sure there is a connection to the recent report that there are 300,000 child sex workers in the USA right now...

4. No, this conspiracy theory has long been put to rest
as Gannon's history can be traced all the way back to his parents.

But I did read a very long thread on DU last night, and follow one of the links to an interview with the late Andy Stephenson and Noreen Gosch and I was amazed to find out that Johnny visited her in 1997 only to disappear again. He was in her apartment for two hours!

I would have called police immediately, just to pick any loose ends for the disappearance of other children. She owed this to other families.

This whole thing, now is starting to sound very bizarre.

OK, I will remove my tinfoil hat.

6. She waited a whole day before reporting the pictures to the police
I watched her on (gag me) Fox News last night. She and Mr Gosch continued with their planned out of town trip the morning when the photos showed up. When they got back, she showed the pictures not to the cops, but to her "people", meaning people who she has hired to work on investigating Johnny's whereabouts. Only the next day did she turn the photos over to the police.

That doesn't strike me as being terribly responsible.

20. I read her book.
And I understand why she waited to give the photos to the police and instead gave it to her people.

7. I share the tinfoil hat...
Something here just doesn't add up. In addition to photos surfacing after 24 years (Conveniently deposited on the doorstep), the whole 1997 incident is just bizarre.

I just don't know what to think here.

8. I am sure she wanted to call the police but he feared for their lives
This is a powerful group we're talking about here. They didn't want to risk being killed. The only reason she finally said something is because she was under oath and she had to tell the truth.

23. if she was so fearful then it would make sense for her to not tell the
truth even under oath.

but as i said, i can't really judge her too much as she has lost a son and you don't know what she has been going through all these years.

24. Yeah, to you and me it would make sense to not tell the truth under oath.
But her son was snatched off the streets with no help from authorities. This whole situation made no sense to her.

22. the 1997 visit is just weird
if it did happen, could it have been someone who claimed to be Johnny rather than the real one ? maybe an attempt to get her to stop the search because based on what people say who remember the time Johnny disappeared she was very public about it.

but then again i don't know how much in the media she stayed and kept trying to push things through all those years since then.

the case itself is important. but i never got the connection to Gannon. Gannon is like 15 years older than Johnny and based on the pictures i don't think he really looks like what Johnny might look like today.

considering she lost a son and doesn't know what happened i can't blame her too much if there are some inconsistencies. she might have had a hope that Johnny was Gannon because it's better than to think of Johnny being dead or going through something else horrible.

i wonder who the other two boys are in the photo with them tied up.

3. I cannot begin to imagine what went through that Mother's
mind and heart when her son went missing, and then ... to get photos 24 years later of such disturbing images.

police find no evidence of child porn .. I hope they are looking hard! ! !

My heart goes out to all involved.

5. Noreen Gosch has some scary theories about what happened to him
from Wikipedia
Noreen Gosch's visitors

Noreen Gosch left her porch light on for her son for 11 years.

In February, 1999, Noreen Gosch testified in Omaha Federal Court, during a case involving Lawrence E. King, Jr. and the Franklin Credit Union scandal, that her son had visited her in 1997.

By Noreen Gosch's account, she was awakened one night in March, 1997 by a knock at her apartment door. Waiting outside was Johnny Gosch, now approximately 27 years old, accompanied by a man she had never seen before. The other man never identified himself, and never spoke, but seemed nervous and serious. Johnny divulged that his had been a targeted, not random, abduction, in 1982. His captors had forced him into a decade of child sex-slavery. Johnny explained that as his survival was a potential security breach for the conspiracy, he was currently, and probably permanently, in hiding, and would likely never see her again. Johnny and the unidentified man left the apartment. After this visit, Noreen Gosch finally turned off her porch light.

Prior to her 1999 testimony, Noreen Gosch had not mentioned this incident in public. Johnny Gosch was not seen by a single witness save his mother, nor had he returned to the childhood home still occupied by his father.

Noreen Gosch, in her book Why Johnny Can't Come Home and on her website johnnygosch.com, continues to assert that her son is alive and in hiding, and to publicize the notion that an international government conspiracy of Satanists, pedophiles, and pornographers is behind the disappearance of the young paperboy from West Des Moines.

10. Now that is way too bizarre.
He visited in '97 with another man? Targeted abduction? Okay...I'll put on my tin-foil hat now but this story is definitely weird. :tinfoilhat:

11. That story doesn't make sense when
you consider how she so publicly tried to out Gannon as her son. If Johnny's life is in danger, why would she do that? I suppose she could've done the whole thing as a publicity stunt, but what kind of mind sees an event like that going down and says "here's my chance?" This whole thing is bizarre and has a lot of angles and I think deserves some investigation, but to find out the truth you'd probably have to fall pretty far down the rabbit hole.

16. Her accusation at Gannon was weird--the stress of it all must be wearying
I cut this woman a world of slack. Yes, there's more going on than meets the eye. Yes, the suggestion about her night time visit from her son should be treated with a grain of salt. Yes, there's something odd about her waiting a whole day before handing the latest photo evidence off to the police--after she had her personal investigators go over it.

I forgot... what was my point?

Anyway, it's all pretty odd. The boy I would guess was taken away by a child prostitution ring. As a parent this sort of story sends chills down my spine. But this woman's been through hell. If her perceptions are a little warped, who can blame her?

9. Paul Bonnaci stated he was one of them responsible for his abduction
I've read alot about the Franklin Group scandal in NE, watched "conspiracy of silence" and heard about Lawrence King and the sex rings, etc and one of those victims, Paul Bonnaci claims to have been one of the two that nabbed Johnny Gosch. Noreen has even spoken to Bonnaci about it. Even Rusty Nelson (photographer) cooberates the victims of Frankin. What abhors me is that the government has done nothing to get to the bottom of the Franklin Group mess, many officials are tied into it (up to those in the white house), people have died trying to out it and of course noone will hold anyone accountable for these crimes against innocent children. Each day, children are snatched, abused, killed and scarred for life. Again, where is the outrage?

I believe this country started on a downward spiral after WW2 and there is no bringing her back. The sheep are alive and well and those of us trying to wake them are growing weaker. There is so much to fix, so little time before it's too late. The problems are in both major political parties and the chritian right.

13. didnt that book kill you?
I put it down so many times, it took me a long fucking time to finish.

When I trt to tell even slightly enlightened people about Franklin Credit Union, im the nutjob. Cause our dear leaders would never molest kids. Even though Ive never met a nine year old who could identify Bush Sr and Kissinger but hey...

17. It's a huge problem in our communities. This isn't AntiBush Underground.
It's a webboard for people who are involved in politics. What's a bigger concern for a country than making our streets and families safe?

18. There are democratic politicians involved in this as well
So, I guess it's not party specific regarding sex rings. Bonnaci has named Barney Frank as one of the dems involved in Franklin. We need to get rid of the bad dem seeds as well as the republican ones. If crimes were committed, no matter who, from the Pres down, then they all need to be tried and punished. I'm sure someone picked up the trade when Lawrence King went down. There may have been others during his time as well. Someone has to bring this to light nationwide and get the parents mobilized to get the scum off the streets.

26. because it was a huge deal
I remember when he went missing, I was around his age and parents around the midwest held their children extra tight. This is when "dont talk to strangers" started and Gosch was the first on the mail carton. I still think there is something behind this story that is very big. What were the other 2 doing there with him?

21. Not so strange about police and photos ...
After reading her book. She's had a history of the police stealing evidence she's given them and constantly stonewalling her about the investigation. She hired her own "people" just to try to get something done about the crime. If her book is true -- and it does come across as sincere -- I have no questions about why she would wait a day before turning these photos over.

Maybe she wanted to make copies before she turned them over to police. I wonder if Keith will cover this on his program at all.
