when he was accused of "endangering" his son. It was a weird camera angle that made distances look much closer. It was devastating for him and his family, the lowest time of their lives. The whole thing was investigated and it was determined the child was not in danger.

11. My mom, who is Catholic said this to me a few hours ago:

"I expect when Steve got to Heaven, St. Peter met him and said, 'There's some friends waiting for you,' and Steve walked in and his mom and dad hugged him, and Sui jumped all over him, and all his crocodiles and Tasmanian Devils and kangaroos were waiting to see him."

It made ME tear up. I have not told the SO my mom said that.

My sister didn't hear about it until she was in Starbucks this afternoon while waiting to pick up my niece from a game (my sister works as a nurse). She called up my Mom all upset. My sister is kinda a Freeper, too.

But... she is sweet... and loves animals and the environment. Steve acted like half the people in her family.

She fell asleep in front of the TV last night, and woke up around 430 or so and say the news. She went and woke up my Dad to tell him. I take it he was annoyed!

The SO just opened the door and half-sobbed, "It's such a blow! There are so few people who DO anything!"

I am relieved to see your kind threads after what happened today.

I just watched him as his second child was born. It's clear he ADORED his children.

I can't understand why I am so sad about this. Possibly it was his youth and vitality. OR that he was a family man. But I definitely feel sadly about what has happened.
