33 men tortured & shot, 7 troops dead in Baghdad. Is this 'the JOB'?
http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory?id=2394303

Police found the tortured, blindfolded bodies of 33 men scattered across the capital and the U.S.-led coalition reported combat deaths of seven servicemen, a day after Iraqi leaders said the capture of a top terror suspect would reduce violence.
----------------

I was watching bush read a speech last week and while he was boasting about how swell and cool things are going in the war on terror/Iraq, they were showing live breaking news of the absolute chaos going on there. An odd juxtaposition, but apt.

Now he is embarking on another torturous speaking tour to again and again remind us yet again that we must stay the curse, and repeating finish the job, finish the job, finish the job, IS THIS THE FUCKING JOB MR. MONKEY ASS?

Is total chaos, unrest, upheaval, civil war, genocide and disaster the whole point of the job? Because if it is, you are doin' one heck of a fuckin' job is all I can say.

1. at the rate things are going, pretty soon there won't be ANY . . .
Iraqi males between the ages of 16 and 60 left . . . the casualty (including murder) rate among Iraqis is truly astounding . . .

of course, we don't track the numbers . . . (cough) . . .

2. I can't even get an accurate count of the Iraqi dead since the election
It is literally too chaotic to keep track of all the dead since the wonderful election there. I am just guessing 50,000, and it makes my head reel.

5. And that would make the neocons unhappy now? They'd LOVE to
see all the adult males in that country dead. Throw in Iran and Syria and that would be their idea of wonderful.

3. Sickening, isn`t it?
Just this week I heard a local hard core Republican say that Bush has Iraq pretty much under control now. He said the media won`t report the truth about how well things are going. Mind numbing.

4. damned liberal media won't show all the good things going on
I love that line, and I always insist that whoever uses it show me the many good things going on in Iraq so that I might compile a scrapbook.

6. And Bush's voters seem to believe it. Well it was the same in
that other war they claimed we anti-Am. stopped also. I guess there will always be people who think only force works. I would sure hate to be a child is such a place.

8. Maybe he'll address this later today
Is total chaos, unrest, upheaval, civil war, genocide and disaster the whole point of the job? Because if it is, you are doin' one heck of a fuckin' job is all I can say.
