I wonder about the money behind the ABC 911 movie

It is said that ABC spent $40 mil on the project and that it will have limited commercial interruptions. With all the money coming out of the taxpayer kitty to fund other good news propaganda on BushCo, I wonder if any of the money behind the movie came from the government propaganda budget.

With the book being pushed free of charge to schools and the film being offered to the BBC and to Indian and other foreign media outfits, this whole thing sounds so much like a high priced propaganda program setup exactly like other propaganda pushes by BushCo.

Just a thought. What do you think?

8. You can only get the details of the propaganda budget

through the Freedom of Information Act. Since most FOIA's are denied these days it would be almost impossible to really find out who is awarded propaganda projects.

A guy who went from being a male prostitute to being one of the select few allowed into Bush's inner circle -- handed press passes to White House briefings during a time long-standing journalists were denied passes, despite Gannon having no credentials whatsoever -- and using a fake name.

Swiftboat liars. Jeff Gannon. Infomercials sent out to TV stations as news pushing the Bushie agenda. College kids getting salaries on campus to spread the GOP lines - without divulging that they're being bankrolled.

It should be noted that UHP, whoever they are, have not provided any details other than the basic fact that "Path to 9/11" is in post-production. They have no other films under their belt (at least as UHP), and have provided no details for the last five categories I listed.

ABC, meanwhile, has decided to devote six hours of primetime programming to Rush Limbaugh's new favorite "docudrama."

On September 10 and 11, ABC will air a "docudrama" called "The Path to 9/11." It was written by Cyrus Nowrasteh, who describes himself as "more of a libertarian than a strict conservative," and is giving interviews to hard-right sites like FrontPageMag to promote the film.

What will it say about President Clinton? Here's Rush Limbaugh with a preview:

"A friend of mine out in California has produced and filmed — I think it's a two-part mini-series on 9/11 that ABC is going to run in prime-time over two nights, close to or on 9/11. It's sort of surprising that ABC's picked it up, to me. I've had a lot of people tell me about it, my friends told me about it…And from what I have been told, the film really zeros in on the shortcomings of the Clinton administration in doing anything about militant Islamofascism or terrorism during its administration." When a drama is so slanted that Limbaugh is "surprised" it's going to be on primetime, you know it's going to be pretty overwhelming. Worse, ABC is billing the docudrama as being "based on The 9/11 Commission Report."

Salon has a review of the program and it sounds like they strayed from the report a little. OK, more than a little.

The Production company was set up at the time the production of this film started.
There is very little info on the Production Company and no financial info.

Where did the money come from?
