bush fatigue, and bushwar fatigue, its goin' around. Remember Clinton fatigue? It was more about fatigue with the impeachment proceedings which dragged on forever and we were fatigued with the constant barrage of personal attacks from the right, that's what all the fatigue was about.

But even the right is suffering the malady of bush fatigue and that worries the bushies.

Of course we all have it, and we are just now developing an anti serum for the disease, but bush fatigue is playing a part in the next two elections.

That would be a good Democratic slogan: bush fatigue, had enough crap yet?

2. I do believe the public is bored

...with Junior. He's not interesting anymore. His cowboy act is old. His simple character is no longer delightful. His supporter's vitriol is beginning to sound like nagging to the ears of the general populace. And the fear drums...we've all heard that song before. The fear is like the top 40 hit that got played too much. It's time to change the station.

4. i wish i were more confident

that the repubs had really run out of bullets.
i think it's coming and i also think, when it does finally happen
the republican party is doomed, but i don't think it's at critical mass yet.
too many "values voters" can still be scared into turning out
and it hasn't been hard enough for long enough on enough people yet.
i'm expecting it to happen somewhere between 2008-2010
when the repubs have no candidates except the real crazies, their slash and burn
tactics left em no where to go.

6. How many more of these repetitious speeches is he planning

on this tour? That just might be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Remember that huge Social Security tour he was going to do a year or two ago and suddenly died because he became afraid of being lynched by the elderly and those with disaiblities? Guy has no learning curve whatsoever. Let him caterwaul. He only shoots himself in the foot with every salvo.

just caught some hilights, same tired, lame, worn out, used up, hack phrases, even rock groups have to do new material every decade or so.

8. An activated electorate

It's not Bush fatigue, although that's a probably pretty good metaphor for what's probably really happening. Instead, I see things as people are finally seeing that ChimpCo has accomplished absolutely nothing in their five years in power. This, in spite of the fact that they have had near total power.

Katrina was a real watershed moment. It finally showed the world that what we have is a incompetent administration which is totally incapable of governance. Then, ChimpCo's reaction made things worse for them. Their Katrina response was to stonewall, spin, and dissemble. People saw through it immediately.

So now ChimpCo and their minions are going to tell us that only Repukes can keep the world safe. Right! Like that's going to work this time. They'll focus on their "war on terror" which has left OBL and the Anthrax attacker go free. Meanwhile, Iraq descends into open civil war and the US soldier casualties keep ramping up.

Lincoln said, "You can't fool all the people all the time." He was correct, of course. ChimpCo's time is over. They may be fooling "Some of the people all the time" but that won't be enough this time.

People aren't tired of the Chimp. They are outright pissed at him. Tired people are sedate and tend not to act. Pissed people get with the program and act. That's quite a difference.

9. It is a lot easier to get fatigued with him, personally, than it was with

the Republican stalking of President Clinton. After a very short time, everybody knew the Clinton stuff was just a witch hunt.

Bush is just tiring to listen to - and that doesn't count the real scandals - that most people don't even know exist - thanks the MSM.

10. I'm curious

Has he made any speech since 9-12-01 that didn't make any references to the attacks on 9-11-01? It seems to me that no matter what the subject is, he has to mention that day, and also say something about terrorists, or terrorism.
