Let's boycott ABC

As you know, ABC will be running The Path to 9/11, a propaganda documdrama that servces the interests of the Republican Party. The docudrama praises Bush and criticizes Clinton for 9/11. What's worse, it's being run without commercials just 6 weeks before the elections.

What can we do? Well, let's boycott ABC and ask our fair-minded friends to do the same. Does anyone have a better idea?

You're dreaming if you think that you can successfully launch a boycott over this show. In fact, all a boycott will do will bring more attention to the show, make more people want to see it. Its a suck ass show and we should be writing letters to the editor and raising a stink. That can lead (hopefully) to stories in the media that point out WHY we are raising a stink. But if the articles become all about a boycott that is having no impact (which is what I fear will happen), the goal of rebutting the show could get lost.

10. I remember reading - right wing unhappy about gay Disney

employees and employee hiring policies and were boycotting Disney.

So now my fantasy is that all Democrats boycott Disney worlds and products leaving only right wingers to support them. After subtracting those who are already boycotting Disney, they might get a message about their partisan politics. Seriously ....

Seriously, I don't like boycotting that leads to job losses, but I think they should be hit by an onslaught of verbal objections of the serious kind - avoiding any threats or language that will get the communication tossed.

And was abandoned after 9 fruitless years. An attempt to start a boycott over this jackass tv show also has no chance of succeeding...most people just don't care and unless motivated by the controversy being generated by the show (something I'm sure ABC is loving) the show itself probably wouldn't be all that successful.
