I've thought about "Peeps" alot....I've wondered if I was One of Them...

I think of "peeps" in the old way, meaning little "yellow chicks stuck in plastic" that are sold in "Dollar Stores" these day on sale for 99 Cents a dozen.

It seems to me that there are Peeps who can be sold here for $1.99 a Hundred ...and that it depends on what issue one is "peeping for."

But...in the long run the "issue with peeps" is that they can work for good things. So many of us don't have time to really get into issues facing us "In Depth" too much anymore...so to have leaders who can give us info and inform us would seem to be more important to us who work two jobs and have kids to raise and not much time to get into stuff but that can't stand the "MSM" anymore.

We "peeps" rely on DU and other websites for news. We are glad to get some REAL NEWS given the "swill" that passes for informative info on the Cables or Networks these days.

My question is...when do we "Peeps" cross the line and become the "yellow, pink and blue peeps" sold for $1.99 a Dozen...that we lie in our "Peep Boxes" and allow OTHERS to do our work for us?

2. We've had a package of unopened peeps for twenty years...

The best we can figure is they might have been pink chicks, but it's hard to tell these days. I have no idea what we payed for them, but we roll them out once a year out of habbit. Our package of peeps are fast becoming a family heirlooms and are priceless. :shrug:
