Is Mexico headed for a civil war?

Found this opinion piece from the Miami Herald, and with Miami having such a large hispanic population, maybe they have heard some things that our wonderful M$M are not reporting.

It is seemingly contradictory and talks "both ways."

The editorial provides a history of what can happen to a country when there is no belief in its electoral integrity. Yet at the same time, it seems to condemn Obrador for not buying into a maneuver to keep him out of power:

Why is it that the powers that be are so afraid to do 100% recounts? Like the rigged US election in 2000 the court in Mexico refused a recount. What are they so afraid of? What is hidden in those ballots? If Calderon won fair and square why not a recount? By refusing a full recount there will always be suspicions that Calderon did not win fairly. When the US Supreme court refused to do a recount in Florida, they turned their backs on the voters and left a cloud of suspicion on the bushes which will follow them the rest of their days. Calderon and his court have done the same thing. They have turned their backs on the voters. But in Mexico, the voters may not acquiesce.

As much as I despise our current admin, if a full recount had been done and * was still the winner, I would have accepted that, but to have it given to him just didn't sit right, and it still doesn't.

Recounts can only be ordered in precincts where cause has been shown. There were partial recounts done under this and they showed minimal change from the official results.

What really slays me is that two candidates who couldn't even garner 40% of the vote are claiming to speak for the people.

11. There's a lot of things they can do

If the workers stop servicing the tourist sectors, a lot of money will dry up quick. If the farmers only grow enough food for their communities, and make the big cities pay through the nose for their food. Stop paying taxes to an illegal government, blockade commerce, some minor sabotage of their oil industry. There are a lot of nonviolent ways to bring the elites to their knees.
