I just called WABC TV newsroom at the flagship station of the ABC network

I told them that a boycott exists on their network as of now and also Wendy's restaurants and Red Lobster Restaurants until ABC pulls the GOPaganda piece Path to 9-11. The newsroom person acknowledged no advertisers will run ads during the 2 nights of the GOPaganda piece as it will run interrupted, so I told him that We know that Wendy's and Red Lobster advertise on ABC primetime national tv and give money to the GOP and that's why we boycott those companies. He thanked me for the information. I gave him my website and organization name.

I think I might channel it instead to calling up the NCAA and the Big 10 urging them to look at their contracts and see if they can move to another network besides ABC/ESPN for their broadcasts in the coming years. Or perhaps their contracts have some wording or COULD have some wording that would penalize the network if they put up politically offensive content, that would allow them to call ABC out on such things. ABC/ESPN has such a lock on all of their broadcasts now. That or Fox, which is just as bad. CBS also has a lot of Sinclair Corporation involvement with many of its affiliates too and sucumbed to the Dan Rather "papergate" incident too. Trying to think of another network we can push for them to work with instead... NBC?

Perhaps if enough of us sent notes here, we could trigger some form of action. I would think the NCAA might be the most receptive sports organization that might have some influence over ABC with the content it provides them. Go here:

partly because there isn't a Red Lobster near us but THEY DON'T KNOW THAT, do they? Write them anyway. It's a good way to stop this kind of crap by ABC. We successfully once got a Kenneth Cole ad pulled that lambasted divorced fathers as being 'deadbeat dads' which is the exception, not the rule! It works!

I think we should put a petition out that they should if they go ahead with this broadcast, and try to get them to give some sort of rational response on why they would reject something like 9/11 Press for Truth and put on the wingnuts' crap! Don't think it could be done, but it would be fun to hear them try! If they say it doesn't get them enough money, then ask them how they were getting money from the other crap when they ran no commercials!
