Overpopulaton and overconsumption

Do you feel these are even issues to deal with? If they are, can we? Developing nations have a population issue. Developed nation have a consumption issue. If the developing nations catch up and get to the developed point, would they not have a consumption issue as well?

We could make things more efficient. However, when we've done that in the past, as an example, did fewer people drive less?

Are ecological limits the only...well, limit? Do you feel we have ecological limits anymore? Or will we always find a way to get around whatever wall stands in our way?

We feel every life is priceless. We want everyone to live long, healthy lives. Has any civilization ever ceased expanding voluntarily? Do we even have a choice of whether or not to do everything we can to break those limits, if they exist?

It's absurd to think that the Earth and the Earth's resources and people....socially....will be able to handle the kind of future CONSUMPTION rate the NWO fascists are proposing.

7. Population is THE ISSUE, IMO

I don't think anything short of a disaster is going to stop it either, mainly because increasing population is what makes capitalism work. Face it: most businesses are nothing more than over glorified peddling operations, and without steadily increasing demand for goods prices will flatten and put them out of business.

Can't have that.

Why do yo think the Republicans are pushing the pro-life issue? Trying to avert attention from global warming? Encouraging people to practice ancient religions?

We who are living adults today don't have much to be concerned about. What it boils down to is this: how much do you care about what happens to this planet after you die?
