Bill Maher encourages us to convert to Islam to appease the terrorists
MUST watch! MUST!

Video at One Good Move

"Now I now what your thinking: Bill, if we convert to Islam doesn't that mean the terrorists have won? Well sort of but it's a win-win because they get to declare victory and we get to take hair gel on the plane!"

...

We'd be Muslims in name only instead of what Americans are now - Christians in name only. I mean look around. We don't care for the poor or defer to the meek, or avoid judging people. It's not like we're that committed to Christianity. In fact the other day I heard a nun say, 'Sure I love Jesus, but I'm not married to him!'

Now I know my plan will meet some resistance but it shouldn't come from the Right, because converting to Islam will just give conservative Christians more of everything they love: 'Pray five times a day? Where do I sign up? You mean we can stone homosexuals instead of just bitching about them on talk radio? Thank you, Jesus! I mean Allah.'"

2. Yeah... but he won't be the one wearing the burkha!
Edited on Wed Sep-06-06 01:03 PM by Totally Committed
Besides.... you just know if that happened, Halliburton would get the burkha contract, and Bush/Cheney would find a way to get rich off it... soon, to shore up profits, the Constitution would be amended to make sure ALL WOMEN had to wear burkas. ABC would be having a special on called "Road to the Burkha" claiming that not only did the Founding Fathers think all women should be covered head-to-toe, but if they had, Bill CLinton wouldn't have been tempted by Ms. Lewinsky... a/k/a "It's all Bill's fault."

Thanks, but no thanks, Bill!

4. Did you catch Darell Issa (R) on Bill Maher
He was on that show. He was trying to distance himself from * and Iraq as far as possible.

6. He still has moments of
brilliance, but they are getting fewer and fewer. I used to be an avid viewer but now its a "if its on, I'll watch it" moment.
