Have I Told You Lately DU That I LOVE You?

This place is seriously the best. Just for the record, and this is only a partial list, this is what DU has done for me the last 3+ years that I have been associated with it:

1. I have gotten a lot of support when I had a cancer scare recently.
2. I have received support via pm's on personal and very painful matters.
3. I was a long time poster on Democrats.com, and I still like that site a lot, but DU is faster paced, and I like that
a lot.
4. I usually read or hear things in the news that I read on DU a day or two before.
5. People seem to tolerate my lack of computer literacy, and I have learned a lot here from people.
6. I was pleasantly surprised to see many fellow Clarkies here.
7. I love the tips (ammo) I get here, so that I can "bitchslap" repukes I might happen to come across.
8. My MAIN two sites I go to are Du and Buzzflash, but the Packer Wire is another place I love as well.
9. DU has a "big tent" so to speak. I still can't get over all the choices people have (DU groups, etc.).
It is absolutely incredible.
10. I'm damn sure I rub a few people the wrong way, so I hope to do some growing up and not be so snarky
with them. I want to be a nicer person here on DU, but it is sometimes a struggle, especially when I
spot someone I perceive as a troll. What can I say, I'll try.
11. I like the smileys.
12. I think Skinner is cute, oh yeah, so is Retrolounge.

Glad you're here and can't tell you how glad I am DU is here. My lifeline in a sea of chaos.

And yeah, Skinner is pretty darned cute, isn't he? Oh, if only I weren't old enough to be his grandmother. Sigh!!
