that's my gut feeling, she's being built up so she can fail hard. She doubled the audience but that will quickly fade it was probably due to the reporters watching.

Also what amazes me is that the media seems so far out of touch in thinking that we care. They made such a big deal out of this like none I have seen before. Who really cares THAT MUCH?

WTF is that? news? Well, really I can see the Scar is trying to be more like olberman. Couldn't believe the amount of airtime he wasted on just crap tonight. Probably every night, I don't watch his show. In fact I got tricked into watching it for his "CIA interview" tape of Anderson Cooper that turned out to be Scarboro with white powder in his hair acting like he was anderson cooper. pfffft. amazingly shallow. Shockingly so.

I don't like little Katie, but it seems they want to prove, among other things, that a woman as news anchor will not work. The coming blow to women's equality is the only thing I mourn.

Otherwise, all this hype, and for what? If they were really giving us the news, rather than infotainment, I might care.

19. I was interviewed last night by the local CBS affilate on

my reaction to Katie as the new CBS Evening News anchor. I gave her a good report based on what I saw last night. After what I saw tonight i have changed my mind and if this crap keeps up I'm calling the reporter and telling him I have completely changed my mind about Katie. He can interview me again!!!

Caught the beginning 15 minutes of her Tuesday "news" show which had remarkably little news and a "breezy" (as in empty) style. I was unimpressed.

25. I don't watch CBS anymore... nor ABC, NBC, CNN, FUX

All I watch is Countdown Keith Olbermann, the Daily Show and The Colbert Report, and occasionally the Lehrer News Hour... I REALLY miss Bill Moyers and Frontline! :(
