He's the president, not a dictator
Teddy Roosevelt said, "To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonous to the American Public." I agree.

Every time people question this president or the actions of his administration they are deemed an obstructionist, or quickly accused of helping the enemy.

The problem is that we aren't quite sure these days which enemy we should be more fearful of - Islamic terrorists or an internal political faction that seems intent on dismantling our government and country from within?

1. Teddy would've opened a can of whoopass on the shrub...
He would've despised everything these clowns represent.

A perfect quote.

3. That notion is SOOOO "pre 9/11".
He IS a dictator, and he has been for quite some time.

His "signing statements" leave absolutely no room for doubt.
He lets the elected representatives of 'We the People' go
through the motions of democracy...and once that's over with,
he rules by decree.

A dictator is defined as "one who DICTATES", is it not?
And when has he ever done anything else?

6. God, I don't you love the way that works?
If you are enough of a fucktard to let terrorists fly planes into a building, you get infinite power not held by any presidents who didn't let terrorists fly planes into buildings. Fucking brilliant.

10. And a lot of voters think that is the American way.
One wonders what they learned in school, if anything, about how we got started.

15. Unfortunately they learn their history from country music songs
from people like Toby Keith and Charlie Daniels (of course with his brother Jack on board) and Darryl Worley. THAT is what is scary.

19. I am sure you have hit it on the head.
It is a shock to hear people call into c-span and just give into Bush always doing what he thinks right. I guess they needed to go to school in a small town in Maine in the late 30's 40's and 50's. We were sure told that the President did not have the power to do as he wished. Maybe to many of our ancestors were in that first war.Course we were also a Rep. state and FDR was in power at the time so that I am sure helped it getting drilled in.

14. bu$h thinks that he is the supreme leader of the world
He truly is a mad man who has assumed a self appointed, self righteous ruler of the world status.

We need to stop him before it is too late.
