I don't EVER want to hear about a "liberal" media bias again!
As someone pointed out the other day, an apt comparison could be made between ABC's new "docu-drama" or whatever and The Reagans. The very same liars on the right that had that movie taken off of CBS are the very same people applauding this stupid new 9/11 venture. They are nothing but pompous hypocrites that I loathe.

By the way, if there is a brightside to this debacle, it's that you can now and forever point out to your right-wing friends that always moan and groan about the liberal media bias that is destroying America that this is one of the most blatant examples of network bias ever and it's being done in favor of the right.

Sorry for that minirant, I just had to clear some things out of my system.

2. That isn't a bright side...
The righties just say, in that mocking, condescending tone they do so well, "Oh, so one time they get it right and suddenly the media is biased? Oh, puhleeeeeese!" It's pointless to discuss it with them. They're stupid.

5. Aw, hey now...
Always Look on the Bright Side of Life

words and music by Eric Idle

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the right side of life...
(Come on guys, cheer up!)
Always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the bright side of life...
(Worse things happen at sea, you know.)
Always look on the bright side of life...
(I mean - what have you got to lose?)
(You know, you come from nothing - you're going back to nothing.
What have you lost? Nothing!)
Always look on the right side of life...

6. It's a myth even in the most "liberal" cities
Take a random city I've had the pleasure to visit: Austin, Texas - home of Ronnie Earle and the Travis County grand jury. The Austin American-Statesman unconditionally endorsed the Chimp for reelection in 2004, after listing a yard-long litany of his failures. The AM airwaves are full of RW diatribe 24/7. Commuters and hapless travelers are treated to a 5-minute sneak preview of Rush Limbaugh at 8 A.M., followed by more Rush Limbaugh and his ilk throughout the day, interrupted only by "Fair and Balanced" news updates. W stickers were all over town in 2000 and 2004, except in the UT enclave. And Cindy Sheehan? Hardly ever saw her on the local news.
