Help me refute this winger cartoonist
http://spotted.augusta.com/chronicle/display.html?event=0&gallery=28124&photo=131028&page=1&imgsize=zoom

This winger toon by Rick McKee of the Augusta Chronicle is one of the nastiest political cartoons I've seen in 20 years in the cartoon business. I called McKee to discuss it and he is pretty much as obstinate as one might expect. I'm writing an op-ed to protest it in my local paper.

My question is, there was an item recently about journalists asking the White House press office if they could back up this kind of rhetoric; i.e., could they name any prominent liberals or Democrats who want us to lose the war on terror or appease the terrorists? They of course ducked the question; they couldn't answer it.

I read so many damn blogs every day I don't know where to look. Anyone recall seeing a similar item? I need it to provide citations for my op-ed.

4. Why dispute it?
The f***er is delusional. Putting words into people's mouths, giving the guy a pony tail and earing, the list of dipsh**ery just goes on and on.

5. Let your LTTE speak for itself.
You know if it were a liberal leaning cartoon there would be howls from the freepers. So simply sate that they cannot find one, not one, Democratic party politician who wants us to "lose the war on terror"

6. Idea for a frame for your LTTE:
The right wing elite are desperate to strike innate fear into the hearts of all Americans.
So desperate, in fact, that they claim that if you are fearless you must not be paying attention.

I am not a coward willing to change my life or forfeit my freedom because of the scare tactics of the GOP.
When you act out of fear, you have made terrorism a successful endeavor.

Hope that helps.

7. A political cartoon is by its very nature a caricature...
...but caricatures of trumped up straw men gets a bit over the top (not to mention failing to be funny).

Why don't you ask him how the tangerine trees and marmalade skies taste in whatever world he's living in? And next time he's there, can he get you one of those marshmallow pies?

8. With an "as corrupt as he is incompetent" boob like GW Bush...
...for president, I suppose it will be only a matter of time before terrorists really are knocking at our doors (after all, with him and his gang in charge, 9/11 was allowed to happen), but until then, the cartoonist will have to content himself with things like compromised port security thanks to the business relationship between an administration more loyal to lining its own personal pockets with UAE money than it is to the interests of the American people.
