A guy is a known pedophile. You call him up and say, "We have x, y, and z on you and could send you to prison, where your life expectancy would be about 30 seconds. But this is your lucky day. You go on TV and say you killed JonBenet Ramsey, and we'll forget about those other things, and you won't end up being charged with that murder either. It's a win-win. Your family already thinks you are scum, so you have nothing to lose by doing it."


You could set the whole deal in motion with 3-4 phone calls, and the easiest part would be manipulating the pedophile.

Karr started making calls and sending emails a long time ago. Patsy Ramsey knew about the guy and had been contacted by him before she died. Bushco is smart and far sighted when it comes to obfuscation but I don't think they are that far sighted.

I think it is more likely just a matter of poor timing and the MSM's obsession with the case.
