Torture.

Mr. - we don't do torture.....can't have compromised testimony at a regular court because they would throw it out as circumspect....and it has already happened several times.

My thought is that this is why he so desperately wants military tribunals at Guantanamo.
He can't prosecute these terrorists at a regular court - so he'll make his own kangaroo court, claim that these perpetrators of 911 have been brought to justice......
but what kind of justice allows torture induced confessions as testimony??????? How much lower will America fall????

1. Actually, what he's suggesting goes beyond even typical military court...

For example, the proposal brought before Congress by the Bush administration allows for secret evidence to be submitted, without allowing the defendant to examine it. Even military courts-martial don't allow this.

Moussaoui wore a "shock belt" at trial. Have you ever been hit with a cattle prod or similar? I'm pretty sure with these kinds of tools they could get most folks to say just about anything right there in open court. :shrug:
