It amazes me the complete hypocrisy and I'll go ahead and say it.....Blind Stupidity....to reason life as being completely impacted by God.
The lamest part is how people seem to pick and choose what in life is a direct result of God, and what just happens because.
The following was a quote from an article about the plane crash in Kentucky:
He has asked about various family members, Cruz said, and has questioned his relationship with God.
One of the first full sentences he said after regaining consciousness was, "Why did God do this to me?" Cruz said.
Cruz said Polehinke's mother, Honey Jackson, told him: "It was not God. It was just an accident."
So, does that mean when something good happens, it's because God is looking out for you, but if it's bad, then it was just an "accident?" That's a pretty neat arrangement, don't ya think? So, when King george is put in office, that's because God wanted it that way. But God was not the reason for 9/11, that just happened because of the terrorists.
Does anyone use religion in that way in their lives? I see it all the time. Good events are because of prayer and God directly influencing, but bad events, God had nothing to do with.
