Dropping a "Google Bomb"

Democratic Web loggers are so upset by that ABC 9/11 movie that they've planned an Internet attack — known as a Google Bomb — to make sure their view of the film dominates the Web.

Activists on Democratic-Underground.com have urged every Democratic blogger to post identical entries after the movie airs, all featuring the film's title, so that any Internet search for the movie will turn up a liberal blog highlighting what they say are multiple inaccuracies in the film.

If the plan works, bloggers say they'll be prepared to utilize the technique "at every turn" between now and November.

talking about a book about Karl Rove, I believe, that revealed that his father, or as it turned out, his adoptive father, left the family and moved away so that he could come out of the closet. Apparently, Karl didn't know he was adopted until late. Since his adoptive father's name was Rove, I'm assuming Karl isn't genetically related to his grandfather, also a Rove, who had such good connections to Norway that he ended up getting the Order of St. Olav. Not that genes are all-important; I wonder if part of the anti-gay marriage playbook came as a revenge of the father who had to abandon his family to be himself, and whose desertion might have been a cause in the suicide of Karl's mother?


I think Rove wouldn't be a Scandinavian if they promised him all the gold in the world, it'd be too liberal, and people have too developed a sense of fairness to be swayed as easily by his tactics.

The Great 2006 Google/Technorati 9-11 movie info bomb!
To counteract the effects the ABC 9-11 movie could have on the midterm elections, I recommend this course of action:

The night of, and the morning after, people will be hitting the internet looking for information on the events as depicted in this movie.

Our biggest opportunity will be to have nearly identical blog posts waiting, then submit them to be found internet wide the morning after the movie. Google and Technorati will pick up on these posts quickly. We can make these entries dominate the first several pages of the search engines.

MAKE SURE THE POST TITLE HAS THE TITLE OF THE MOVIE IN IT!

Get every Democratic friendly blog on board as possible... you e-mail the ones you know, they'll e-mail the ones they know, etc. Make SURE these blogs are on the Technorati network and have also been submitted to Google's blog search.

For one day, change the title of your blog to the title of the movie.

Agree on a clear, detailed, and sourced body of information -- I've seen several examples on DU lately disputing what is in the movie. Media Matters has one. One was posted today on DU by Richard Clarke.

Everyone post it. Right after the movie is over or the next morning at the latest.

Did I ever tell you my Brit Hume story? I saw him near the Mayflower Hotel in DC years ago walking towards me at some distance. A dollar bill blew across the sidewalk, seemingly from nowhere. Seeing a homeless person up ahead, I naturally assumed they would pick it up and as the $ was closer to me than Hume, I slowed up a bit to ensure that was the case. Of course I'm just squirming with curiosity to see if the writers and directors of this piece include the scene where the Republican-controlled Congress chooses to ignore the Hart Commission's call for beefing up airline and airport security in 2000.

I'm sure that the directors and producers have at least one "heroic" pre 9/11 Bush cabinet meeting. It has struck me that this "non-issue" (really if you think about all the treason this admin is doing, this is a non-issue) is REALLY the DLC re-asserting itself as the controller of ALL things Democrat.
I mean it is all a Clinton (+administration) face saving thing that now supposedly ALL good Dems come to the aid of their "fearless leader." Well, it really is sapping our "momentum" on other more important issues, and the corporate controlled DLC KNOWS THAT.

So, I have stayed outside the blogosphere on this one, except for the few phone calls to ABC radio to gnash my teeth on the air, with the likes of Levin (the Zionist) and the new idiot (Jerry) last night taking over Laura Ingram's 8-10 slot in the NY ABC market.

Screw Disney and ABC, they were the next to fall to the nazis after Fox anyway, everyone knew that. I believe that ABC is also stirring the pot to get all good Dems back into the DLC fold, as Hilary was starting to get REALLY antsy at the calls to debate Tasini and with Lamont, and the Screw the DLC push happening as of late, I feel this is the motive for the over-hype of this non-issue.

This all just another Corporate-control of our sense of "what is important."
