What the hell is a "Google Bomb"

I consider myself web savvy and usually can figure out most phrases and such very quickly. But what the hell is Britt Hume referring to when he uses the term "Google Bomb"

Are they going to try and frame us as web terrorist and we have these bombs that we drop all over the internetS?

Well, if truthout participates in the google analytics tracking, then it does increase the pagerank. But considering that just registered members of DU can see the links, I wouldn't expect many unique visitors created by them.

A proper google bomb works by adding many links associating a page with a term - which isn't possible on DU. And thanks to other google bombs, the importance of forum links has been reduced.
