Can someone point me to the directions for hiding ads, my computer crashes
Sorry to post this here, can't find the info easily on how to hide ads here.. they are crashing my computer, I've left them on as long as I can so I can generate hits for the DU, but can't restart my computer every hour.

Some of these ads keep loading and loading. Specially the Google Shopzilla, a monster to my machine :)

Wish I could keep clicking, but can't. Help point me to where I can do it properly, and then let the post drop, thanks!

1. I need to know also. That Shopzilla ad is murder on my home computer.
It's OK on my Mac at work, but it slows down my PC.

4. ALWAYS Loading on a PC..
and my wife is a MAC person, can't have her making fun of me.. I'll make her NOT hide the ads so we can help the DU that way at least..

Glad I'm not the only one.. it IS basically that one ad tho I think..

10. I turn mine on and off
when my patience seems better they are on, if not they are off. Some of them really slow you down.

3. Shopzilla is now on my list of "no-shop-there-EVER" because of that ad
When something really annoys me, I add it to my no-shop list.

7. DU needs ads because people like me don't pay up
Mostly because I don't like sending money over the net. I've been meaning to send a money order for months and should probably get my ass over to 7/11 to do it.

But Shopzilla doesn't need to take up so much damned memory. They left a bad taste in my mouth and they will NEVER get business from me or any kind of word of mouth advertising.

9. shopzilla ads
i got my computer shop to put the free ewido anti spyware 4.0 along with the AVG free virus, but somehow the ad-aware and a casino gambling site are getting through. I also browse in mozilla and stay away from internet explorer.
