More evidence of ABC folding: cancelled ads
Sorry, it's from Redstate via Kos.

But enjoy it all the same:

"When checking our Feedburner statistics a few minutes ago, something jumped out at me. It's not often that we see cancelled campaigns in RSS (or in web advertising in general), especially from larger organizations or agencies. The reasoning is simple - it's *expensive* to plan large campaigns, so ABC nixing this ad is all the more depressing.

(I should also add that if I had to guess, the person tasked with cancelling this ad far outranks the person who booked it in the first place.)"

along with the Ptech scandal and the wargames (Vigilant Warrior, Vigilant Guardian, etc.) and you get foreknowledge of an impending attack, not mere incompetence. Why isn't ABC looking into these "inconvenient truths" of 9-11 ? Because they know why and the Jersey Girls do too. They know that we know...

Besides, another DUer has uncovered the funding sources behind this propaganda and it isn't pretty. ABC would probably show this $40 million dollar project without commercials anyway. Follow the money; follow the propaganda. The Iraq project seems preplanned from the 1970's, just tweaked from Saudi Arabia to Iraq...

There is much weeping and gnashing of teeth in the Freeper's domain. I hear the wailing and tearing of clothing. "Bush is electable" was their battlecry ! Be careful what you pray for, you might just get it--old French proverb.

3. No apology necessary. It's information.

Even right wing web sites have to toss out an occasional fact now and then.

It shows that we are getting our message across.

Please note: this is how right wing propaganda is countered. Get the facts out as fast as possible. Don't sit around and assume that just because it is an absurd lie that it will be disbelieved on its own. There are still a lot of people out there who think Al Gore claimed to have invented the Internet or John Kerry didn't earn his medals in Vietnam.

5. Keep the fight UP - here's what I just sent Disney:
Gentlepeople,

PLEASE do the right thing. Not the "right" thing (as in pandering to the so-called "right" wing of American politics. PLEASE don't slander or libel the Clinton administration! "The Path to 9/11" is filled with lies, distortions, misrepresentations, and deceptions. PLEASE don't put it on the air! I don't want to feel compelled to stop watching ABC, or joining the growing boycott of ABC sponsors. But if this despicable miscarriage of truth and justice is allowed to air, I'm going to have to do both those things.

PLEASE pull this awful program!!!

Thank you.

6. We can make the local stations afraid to show the
Path to 9/11 movie....make sure you that you mention the ages of the members of your household and how many televisions you have in your home. Also, be sure to mention that you may or may not be a Nielsen Family, but leave them guessing about whether or not you are a Nielsen household. Phrase it something like this: "Think about it......that's 4 fewer (possibly Nielsen) TVs tuned to your station. Perhaps there will be dozens of local Nielsen Families that will stop watching your programming without bothering to send you an e-mail."

Ask them pointedly throughout your e-mail how many local televisons your Nielsen TVs may or may not represent if you are a Nielsen Family.

Also, threaten to avoid watching their local news programming....mention some of their anchors by name so they know you are local.

And it may help to threaten to avoid watching some other ABC programming as well. Mention that you will note who their local advertisers are and avoid spending your dollars there.

We may be able to persuade some of the local stations running this programming isn't worth the headache. Good luck!
(I x-posted this info in another thread.)

9. Great thinking.
I don't think the Nielsen insinuation is necessary though. As a typical viewer, you automatically represent some sizable fraction of their audience (the majority who don't take the time to write). A bunch of viewer e-mails against it will indicate a trend big enough to register in the ratings.
