MESSAGE: Tell Apple not to distribute "The Path to 9/11" on iTunes. The show is factually-wrong, politically-biased, and they have no right to misuse the memory of the 3,000 people who died on September 11 in some effort to influence the US election on behalf of the Republicans. September 11 belongs to all of us and shouldn't be treated so flippantly by anyone, especially Apple. (Let us know what you hear, post your feedback in the comments to this post.)

The action alert implies they are currently promoting it.. i.e. it says "stop promoting". You can not stop something you have not started.

Where are the action alerts for Google and Amazon then? They all sell ABC TV shows and they MIGHT have it just like iTunes MIGHT have it.

I should have to google for someone elses post, that I did not know existed, who did not point it towards the article but rather iTunes (Which I did open and search in BTW).

Sorry I missed the Variety article but I have not read all the post on DU about it. Nor would I have even known to search for that.

Where did I call anyone a lier? I asked where it was on iTunes because I could not find it there. The OP says they are promoting it there.

Where was I wrong, it says its being promoted on iTunes and to help them stop - IT IS NOT NOW ON ITUNES.

Now if we really want to make sure it does not show up on iTunes don't you think we should be contacting President Gore, since he is on the board of directors? One thing I know for sure is if we demand Steve Jobs to do something he will do it, he is a be a stubborn ass.

We aren't talking about a newbie, but we are talking about someone with an agenda. Whether the agenda is simply thread derailing, whining, shitting in the punch or worse I have no idea. But the right thing for this poster to do is say three words: I STAND CORRECTED.

And then, that would be that. All would be right with the world. Instead, this thread isn't about activism anymore, it is about the childish arguments of someone who shot off their mouth without fact checking first.
