Here is the list, tell the General Sales Manager You Will not be watching the local news and that you will boycott local advertisers on their station.

This will cause the affiliates to yank the mini-series on their own by Sunday if we can keep up this movement.

THE 2 MOST IMPORTANT THINGS TO TV IS AD REVENUE AND LOCAL AFFILIATE LOCAL NEWS LOCAL AD REVENUE. WE CAN HAVE THE MOST IMPACT NOW BY CALLING THE SALES, NOT THE PROGRAM MANAGER AND THREATEN NOT TO WATCH THE NEWS!

3. When complaining to local TV stations about the..........

Path to 9/11 movie....make sure you that you mention the ages of the members of your household and how many televisions you have in your home. Also, be sure to mention that you may or may not be a Nielsen Family, but leave them guessing about whether or not you are a Nielsen household. Phrase it something like this: "Think about it......that's 4 fewer (possibly Nielsen) TVs tuned to your station. Perhaps there will be dozens of local Nielsen Families that will stop watching your programming without bothering to send you an e-mail."

Ask them pointedly throughout your e-mail how many local televisons your Nielsen TVs may or may not represent if you are a Nielsen Family.

Also, threaten to avoid watching their local news programming....mention some of their anchors by name so they know you are local.

And it may help to threaten to avoid watching some other ABC programming as well. Mention that you will note who their local advertisers are and avoid spending your dollars there.

We may be able to persuade some of the local stations running this programming isn't worth the headache. Good luck!

4. I am going to watch "Path to 9/11"

And I'm going to make a list of sponsors of the program.

Any company that sponsors this show will get a letter from me stating that I will no longer do business with them, and I will post the list of sponsors so that others can boycott the companies as well.

Hit ABC where it hurts, their ad revenues.

5. ABC "docudrama"

I sent ABC.com a message saying I will not watch Grey's
Anatomy or Desperate Housewives because of the bogus
"docudrama" from ABC about 9/11. And goodbye
Charlie, hello Brian...for news. I believe longer lasting
consequences are in order for ABC's biased actions, especially
so near to a national election. I urge all DUers and
like-minded folks to stop watching any ABC hit show and tell
ABC what you're doing. Put a dent in the numbers, show them we
do have some power after all.
