Two-part DRAMA based on the findings of the 9/11 commission into the events leading up to the attack on the World Trade Center.

On the 26th February 1993 a truck bomb exploded in the car park of the South Tower of the World Trade Center. The FBI, CIA and other US enforcement agencies began a hunt for the perpetrators which spanned continents and concluded in the identification of Osama Bin Laden as the main figure behind this and other attacks on US targets throughout the world. A plan is drafted to capture Bin Laden and bring him to justice. The consequences of its failure would be realised years later in an event that would shake the world. "

1. Anyone doing anything about this in the UK?

2. Well, what would you expect them to call it?

They list it as "drama" as opposed to "sit-com", "soap", "feature film" or whatever and then give a synopsis of the content. Note that they don't list it as a "true story" or "documentary". I would suggest that the BBC credits us with enough intelligence to make our own minds up. We don't need to be told what to think, nor do we think that just because it's on the television it must be true.

I just pointed out that at least they described it as a drama and not a docu-drama. However how it will be taken by the viewers will depend on how it is presented.
I've never read a book about the Doors but I've seen the film. Although I thought some of it was an interpretation of some of the events that took place in Jim Morrison's life, I still remember most of it and I guess I would consider it fact. The problem with this film is that it is very close to reality but has been twisted according to a political agenda and is now pure propaganda.
