Utah Volunteer Rescuer Says 9/11 Harmed Her Health
Video here: http://www.kutv.com/video/?id=19046@kutv.dayport.com

(KUTV) SALT LAKE CITY - She answered the call for help in the days after September 11, 2001 – to work in the wreckage of the World Trade Center. But as the fifth anniversary approaches, a Utah woman is battling a lingering illness which she may have gotten at Ground Zero.

Her name is Nancy Hachmeister, a trained volunteer searcher who looked for survivors in the aftermath of the terror attacks with her trusted dog, “Ivey.”

“Psychologically, there is no problem… physically, that’s another story,” she told 2News, while repeatedly coughing through the interview.

Hachmeister says she has been coughing day and night since spending ten days in the dirty air at Ground Zero. It was a week and-a-half that she claims wrecked her health for a long time.

“For the first two years , I had a sinus infection every other month,” she says. “I was coughing so bad that I threw up every morning… every day for ten months. Her canine companion, "Ivey," eventually died from illness although it is unclear whether it was related to exposure at Ground Zero.

1. Stand by; there's going to be a lot more people piping up now.
All those brave, selfless souls who wanted to do nothing but help in any way they could were duped by their government. Sound familiar?

4. We'll hear the same from the Gulf
All those people wading around in that sludge, who knows what in the air. This government doesn't care about any of us.
