THIS WEEK ON THE SUNDAY CHAT SHOWS

Of course, Monday is the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the USA. Looking back and looking at where we are five years now will be the primary focus of all the national chat shows this Sunday.

ABC / This Week with George Stephanopoulos: 9/11 Commission members Thomas Kean (Chairman), Richard Ben-Veniste, Jamie Gorelick, and John Lehman. The roundtable features Newsweek International editor Fareed Zakaria, ABC News White House correspondent Martha Raddatz, Katrina vanden Heuvel of The Nation, and conservative columnist George Will.

CBS / Face The Nation with Bob Schieffer: The guest list has not been announced as of Friday evening. Please check back later for possible updates.

CNN / Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer: U.S. Secretary of State Dr. Condoleezza Rice, U.S. Senator and Foreign Relations Committee member John Kerry (D - MA), United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Mark Malloch Brown, Afghanistan's Ambassador to the USA Said Jawad, Iraqi national security advisor Dr. Mowaffak al-Rubaie, FBI Assistant Director for Public Affairs John Miller, and Brian Jenkins of the RAND Corporation and terrorism expert.

FOX / Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace: Secretary of State Dr. Rice will also appear here to talk about the war on terror five years later. Also, Democratic National Committee Chairman Dr. Howard Dean will discuss the party's strategy heading into the midterm elections. And the programme will pay tribute to those who died on 9/11/2001 at the Pentagon.

NBC / Meet the Press with Tim Russert: Vice President Richard "Dick" Cheney will be Russert's guest for the full hour to discuss the war on terror, the midterm elections, and Iraq. It's the first time in three years that the veep has appeared on the NBC programme.

Syndicated / The Chris Matthews Show: The panel list has not been released as of Friday evening. Please check back here later for updates.

Bay News 9 / Political Connections: Dr. Larry J. Sabato, Director of the University of Virginia's Center for Politics and lead author of the center's political analysis site Sabato's Crystal Ball, will discuss the political climate in the Sunshine State immediately after the primary elections.

1. Will Ben-Veniste give Kean the thrashing he's earned? ... On ABC yet!

2. Ben-Veniste was over cautious on Countdown...afraid to criticize.
I thought he would speak out more. I hope he will speak out more Sunday.
