I would like Skinner/ DU to add this contact the media feature

The Spotlight Project. This feature will allow you to forward an individual post that you think is important to several journalists by name, with your comments. Following every post, you will see a "Spotlight" link. Click that link, and you are taken to The Spotlight Project, and all the information about the particular post comes there with you. You then can choose which specific journalists you would like to send the post to with your message attached.

What you will see on the Spotlight project is this page (for example)

which will give you a list of a couple hundred reporters to chose from to send the post along with your comments.

There are so many good posts at DU which should get a wider viewing. It would also be a good aide in helping to be an activist when fighting the media bias. This would make it so easy.

If this feature would give DU'ers a broader forum and more exposure, it would be very worthwhile, IMO. We could have potentially broader influence in the print media and beyond.
