Boycott ABC
I am not trying to tell anyone what to do, but I think it might be a good idea to boycott ABC for this season. I was planning on watching "Dancing with the Stars" this season; however, now I am seriously considering just not watching in order to protest this docudrama. If ABC's shows take a major nose dive they may get the message that the angered some people.

1. And don't just boycott - send the CEO and others emails every week
reminding them that you are boycotting. And get everyone you know who is boycotting to keep reminding them.

3. Skip "Dancing w/ the Stars." There's so much else to do in life.
I haven't watched anything on ABC in probably years.

4. I can't think of anything they have on that I'm interested in, so
it will be a piece of cake for me. Okay, well, Gray's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives are fun shows, but I can easily give them up.

I doubt my SO can manage to give up ABC Sports. I know he can't pass on ESPN, especially during football season. So, we'll have a 50% boycott here.

5. Boston Legal - that's my only ABC show, and I love it!
I think even if I tell ABC that I'm boycotting, I won't mention that I will still be watching Boston Legal.

But otherwise - holy shit, but they have NOTHING of value on that channel! It's like what NBC was in the 80s - just shit.

8. IT DOESN'T MATTER! JESUS CHRIST! LOL
I really don't know how many more times I'm going to have to say this, but it ain't lookin good. No one seems to want to listen.

If you don't have a Nielsen Ratings box, they DON'T KNOW YOU EXIST! It's that simple. Watch, don't watch. Doesn't matter either way. They don't know you're there now.

10. Nielsen Ratings Box
How do you know if you have one? I assume you are not calling the TV a nielson ratings box. In addition, when they are they ratings are they just counting a portion of the country?

11. I believe
that newer satellite and cable set top boxes can send info back to company headquarters on what subscribers watch. I don't think this information is being used much at this time though, so basically you are correct.

12. Everything matters
Nielson may be the rating record keeper but there you seem to forget the matter of principle. Do you or do NOT support a major network that uses the public airwaves to pollute the minds of their viewers with malicious propaganda? Is this matter of such insignificance to you that you can't find something better to do than watch Grey's Anatomy? I enjoyed watching Lost, Housewives, and Grey's, but I will not in the future. I can find other things to do that might actually improve the world instead of using Nielson boxes as an excuse to allow this betrayal to go on without consequence. Its just a matter of principal. If enough people get tired of this BS long enough maybe more and more people will shut off their TV's and PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON THEIR WORLD!

there is no reason to watch ABC.
