A Completely Naive Perspective!!!!!

I have not read or post here in many months... so this is a really dumb comment from a regular guy who really doesn't give much of a shit about anything at this pint.

A few weeks ago....

i heard (Somewhere?!?) that the RW political strategy is now to focus less on Iraq and more on the assault on other people in the world.

Okay....

First of all... a political strategy that incorporates the media's manipulation of mass fear is screwed up.

So, I'm sitting here, working my 2nd at home job, minding my own business, doing my own important work that is belittled by socioeconomic control from morally vacant and/or obliviously privileged people, with a TV in the room where CNN is focusing their "Story of the Day", focusing on war against other parts of the world other that Iraq.......

I really don't give a shit about anything other than the fact that the government controls the media now!

This really is NOT funny anymore!!!!!

I fear people are behind the curve.

We assume that we are competing with a political strategy that can be combated by public opinion.

As if votes mattered....

This isn't about what people think as far as the RW is concerned. They don't care about what people think.

This is about an Administration that wants to exert, make obvious, its control over all of us!

So it doesn't really matter what we think.

They want to make it clear that they control us. They want to make us their bitches, people who are afraid to have any human reaction whatsoever.


We are so bogged down by our monotonous jobs that we do not have time to think.
According to them all we can do is accept our masters. That is the plane that they operate on, or perhaps on an even more disgusting incomprehensible level. Who knows?


I'll try to make a constructive point here... This is all I can think of....

Anyone who supports the RW now is Morally Vacant....

Unfortunately we need to add that to our vocabulary to describe a Lot of people now. I will leave it at that.

I also hope this is a growing movement. I try to speak to my family friends via my blog, but it doesn't seem to impact them a whole lot - the overwhelming feeling I get? They don't want complications. They want the easy answers. So I, too, hope enough of us are waking up.

Don't get me started about family.

I am a parent -- AND -- a kid of a dominantly RW family.

I understand needing to keep kids under contol but becoming RW in the process is a pure sign to brain-deadedness.

All I need to say to them is that the RW these days consists of BOTH Christian Extremists AND Nazi Skinheads. How fucked up is that?

There is a definiteve line bewteen controling kids and becomning insane in the process.

My guess is that our parents grew up in a simpler time when people could trust their government -- we are smart enough to know that people cannot be trusted so they must be judged on their actions; yes, that is complicated, but it comes down to a simple choice -- be alientated by your clear thinking children or not. I'm getting sick of the idiots in the world being sucked in by the extremists.
