Why is everyone blaming ABC for Path to 911. Proctor and Gamble
Edited on Sat Sep-09-06 01:07 AM by gbrooks
ABC is the actual culprit.

Why is ABC broadcasting Path to 911 commercial free?

Probably because virtually any prime time advertizer
is owned by Proctor and Gamble

Well the following is a short list of Proctor and Gamble

1. I'm not able to confirm that.

Disney tapped former P&G chief as its new CEO, but P&G does not own Disney.

If I'm missing something here, I'd love to know about it.

On edit: Sorry, that's Chairman, not CEO. Still....

21. LOL
It happens to the best occasionally. I'm just glad I happened to be looking in at the time -- although someone else would have done the job if I didn't.

No harm, no foul, right?

5. Are You Saying Because P&G Advertises the most?
I used to work at Disney in 1996 when Disney acquired ABC and I assure you that neither is owned by P&G. I guess the poster is referring to the fact that because P&G does a lot of advertising they "own" Disney and ABC?

commercial interruption.

Are you an Amway associate, by any chance? I have a theory that the "Proctor & Gamble was founded by devil-worshippers" rumor is started over and over again every few years by frustrated Amway associates that want to get a bigger share of the personal products market. Maybe the "Path to 9/11 movie is sponsored by Proctor & Gamble" stuff is just a new tactic.

Oh, and Disney/ABC is mostly owned by some Saudi family..........I don't know which Saudi family, but they could have ties to the Bin Ladens.

9. I don't believe that Disney is owned by Proctor and Gamble
Many moons ago (well, not that many but a few) I worked for P&G. I have also worked for companies that did business with Disney and Bueno Vista and there was no connection to P&G at all that I have ever heard.

P&G are a soap/health and beauty/household cleaners company. Media is not their business as far as I am aware.

I KID! LOL!
David was okay, but surprised me; he wouldn't go off topic, i.e., say what he really thought. Or maybe he did.

18. LOL
Nope, just get bored or offered a new opportunity and take it.

I worked in the food brokering business for many years and was often being wooed away by a competitor in the field. As for Disney and Bueno Vista, well, I am a movie slut. I will watch just about anything once. I was offered a job that made me an agent of 13 different studios and their products and well ... I couldn't resist. I did that for a few years, but have now moved back into the food brokering/data collection side of the business.

Next week, I might change my mind and do something else. Or not. I live on that edge ... I'll open two gallons of milk at the same time and laugh in the face of the expiration date.

You can poke fun at me anytime you want. m'kay? :loveya:

As for David, I think he knows much more than he is saying and I can't wait for him to write a book about those things. Know what I mean? What a block buster that could be if he really let it all hang out. hehehehehe what a visual.

13. The religious right thinks satan owns Proctor & Gamble.
And the religious right, apparently, was also behind this bullshit "docudrama".

I think I'll lay the blame at the feet of ABC, and leave P&G out of it.

17. I think that it's mostly Amway Distributors
Edited on Sat Sep-09-06 01:38 AM by TheDebbieDee
that keep the Proctor & Gamble is run by devil-worshippers rumor alive.

As I stated upthread, Amway has been trying since the 70s to get a bigger portion of the personal products market that P&G dominates and the devil-worshipper rumor keeps some of the more religiously fanatic Amway associates motivated to improve sales.

BTW, isn't DeVos, the repuke candidate for Governor of Michigan (against Granholm, a Democrat) an Amway multi-millionair?

15. Thanks everyone for finding my error. But when a former P&G

CEO becomes the present Disney CEO and produces
Path to 911 within months of taking over and only
weeks before the Congressional elections, the
corporate culpability paper trail stands.

As for the rest of the picture:

P&G owns ABC ???? Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Broadcasting_Company
P&G doesn't own Disney but there man is in charge.

IF I FELL FOR WIKI DISINFO I APOLOGIZE

Edited on Sat Sep-09-06 01:49 AM by Garbo 2004
in January 2007 as Non-Executive Chairman. http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/060628/disney_chairman.html?.v=1

Robert Iger is Disney's President and CEO. http://corporate.disney.go.com/corporate/bios/robert_iger.html

And the film has been in the works at ABC for well over a year, probably more like at least two years. It began filming on July 7, 2005 which means preproduction work, like getting a script, director, casting, etc. started well before then. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,163964,00.html
