Why you want to see "Path to 9/11"

Since it's been pretty clearly established now that this was a right wing hatchet job, could this could spur discussion of the film's less than flattering portrayal of the Bush administration or will Republicans start whining about big bad ABC.

Could the fact that Chimp scheduled his speech smack dab in the middle of the part of the movie dealing with his administration have anything to do with wanting to counter any negative effects?

3. Don't conflate this with censorship.

It's not the same thing.

We want ABC not to air the film because it is meant to influence the upcoming election in favor of our adversaries.

We are using the strength of our collective appeal to ABC and its parent, as well as the threat of lawsuits from more powerful Democrats, to try to bring about this end.

This is not the same as abridging anyone's freedom of speech--it is a large share of the public attempting to influence a decision by a business that needs our goodwill.

Comparing this to censorship is like calling the UFW grape boycott an attempt to suppress grapes.

None of us would deign to prevent you or anyone else from seeing it--on dvd, on the internet, or somewhere else. We just don't want it on prime time national TV at the height of election season.

"But you have no right to decide for me...." is nonsense. The OP says nothing that an intelligent person could honestly say implies trying to decide for anyone else. Quite the opposite.

Now I think it is too late to get them to pull it. The best we can do is to not even watch it, tape it, or DVR it. Don't give it the ratings they want. As cruel as it sounds, since the film is a pack of lies, then if you wanna protest, tell them, whatever you do, DO NOT WATCH The Path To 9/11.

4. Not premature.

I've already decided. The path to the "Path to 9/11" was such a calculated set up to dupe the American people once again. Bush goes on a terror speaking tour, a new bin Laden video tape airs, terrorists in secret CIA prisons are revealed, Bush will give a live speech in the middle of the propaganda piece. All wrapped up for us on the anniversary of 9/11. I don't need to see this "docudrama" to know what is right and what is wrong. I'm no fool.
