9/11 film questions investigations

A film about the Sept. 11 attacks will be shown at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pageant Theater, 351 E. Sixth St.

"9/11 Press For Truth" is based in part on Paul Thompson's "Terror Timeline," one of the projects developed on the Cooperative Research Web site founded in 2001 in Chico by Derek Mitchell.

Directed by Ray Nowosielski, "9/11: Press For Truth" has interviews with the families of 9/11 victims and examines the efforts and failures of the 9/11 Commission and the press to address questions that haunt families five years after the tragedy.

1. DVD Copy

Received a DVD copy in the mail yesterday and reviewed it last night. It is very good. All of the points made, are from public reports - newspaper or otherwise. One of the most disturbing aspects is how Bush and Rice provide non-ansers to questions, and obviously lie in others. In one scene, Bush tries to think of an answer but comes up with nothing. His guilt is transparent. Kudos to Paul Thompson for making a detailed and coherent time line.
