Wanna hurt Disney????
Edited on Sat Sep-09-06 10:45 AM by Skidmore
Start referring to the * administration as the "Mickey Mouse administration" putting forth "Mickey Mouse policies" and "Mickey Mouse solutions" and fighting a "Mickey Mouse war", all perpetuated by the "Mickey Mouse Party." Use their love of branding against them and wrap Disney and BFEE and the GOP into one big ball of corporate BS propaganda. Turn the brand against them. The GOPs new symbol is Mickey Mouse.

Edited to add: * and his cabinet are now the Mouseketeers when they appear together to sell some odious PR claptrap. Rove is now Goofy and the Republic Congress... well gee, folks help me out here--we can get really creative with this.

The building was designed by a famous guy, but it looked an awful lot like a prison from the inside.

14. Disney seems to be freakish about copyrights, so...
how about a mass violation of their copyrights? Remember the extraconstitutional Sonny Bono Copyright Extension Act to protect Mickey Mouse profits?

I'm pretty much in tune with the idea that if Disney/ABC runs this lying crap, they should not merely be boycotted, but rather actively destroyed by the public. Anything we can imagine should be fair game.

to keep track of the Republic Congress and their agenda and an accompanying list of activities to counteract each point!!! Then we can also have a list of Mickey Mouse Club Candidates and a report on campaigns.

Are you game for this? How about Mickey Mouse stickers with the local Mickey Mouse Candidate on it to paste up on light poles or public bulletin boards etc?

Get where I'm going with this? It needs to be EVERYWHERE!! We're branding them. People need to see Mickey Mouse and think Republican and * administration.

What's this "Al Quaida" nonsense, for example? Always refer to it in English, i.e. as "The Database", not as "Al Quaida".

When some one asks you what's this "Database" you're talking about, just explain to them that that is all the words mean. Using the Arabic term, "Al Quaida" is just an attempt to make it sound exotic, furrin and sinister. It means simply "the database" which identifies the Mujahadin terrorists recruited and trained by the CIA to fight against the Russians in Afghanistan.

There are no guys in white hats here, so it should be little wonder that pragmatism is what is called for to remedy the situation. No terrorist organisation have ever been successful for long without the support of the indigenous population. It should always be borne in mind that most people in every country are immensely long-suffering, so enduring terrorist movements and revolutions are always a judgement on their enemies. We need, therefore, to purposefully set about removing the injustices that led to the terrorism.

One of President Clinton's greatest strengths was that people throughout the world sensed that, if he could have his way, everyone would be friends, and there would be no oppression anywhere in the world, on any basis. And his malevolent enemies on the right could only "tear their garments" in the face of his popularity (not to speak of his unprofitable peace-making!).

Incidentally, it will not be possible to effect the latter, if our governments continue to despise and oppress their own people. Justice is a jealous mistress. She wants the world, and won't be anyone's pawn simply for pragmatic purposes, hence the need for a socially-enlightened government, which believes that the nation, the country, comprises all its people, including the poorest.
