I was there yesterday. There were a few newsreporters there, but the coverage from kc star seemed to be slanted as far as their video I reviewed this morning. There were at most 10 Talent supporters and about 250 + protestors. The video shown by KC star makes it sound like it was at least equal and it was not!
http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/..see link for video protestors vie for attention. As far as TV coverage, I dont actually live in KC so I am not sure how they covered it. I did check all the links for coverage this morning and seen CBS actually had video.

We had more pro honks than negative. We had some apathatic drivers, who didn't pay attention at all. I was glad to be a part of this. We need more feet on the street events. The Republican party is so huge and so powerful, hell, they seem to own everything. We need to gather in masses, like the sixties. Camp Democracy is happening right now. I hope to be able to attend for a few days.
http://www.campdemocracy.org/I also hope we are all involved in our local democratic party. It's going to take door to door and phone banking. We need to have solidarity in the democrat party. We need to be all inclusive and provide a party front for what we stand for.
