They didn't expect Dems to fight back, and certainly not with fervor.

The RW and the media were clearly caught off guard by the response they have gotten regarding this ABC-Disney-Republic Party propaganda attempt. What has been consistent to date is that this type of stuff tends to go unchallenged or, if challenged, not supported by the power structure of the Democratic Party. When the Party came on board and the people who actively participated in policy making it the past did too, it gave us additional clout.

We need to do this all the time. And the Party needs to get serious about taking a stand and really fighting.

3. I think they expected it and planned for it.
The overall effect.. The show still airs, slightly edited but still defamatory enough to do damage to the truth. The backwash gets their rocks off, Liberals get ridiculed for squelching "free speech" and the official government 9/11 story is cemented as the absolute truth. Mission accomplished.

All that said I'm in awe of our efforts to get the truth out, but I don't think the RW is even slightly bothered. Watch the corporate media pundits turn their venom on the truthseekers in the next few days, e.g. "Liberals love to censor free speech when they don't agree with it"

7. They knew there would be backlash
Look how secretive they were about the title. Then they only release advance copies to Rush and the other wingnuts.

I bet they would have pulled the project by now, but the person/organization bankrolling the project won't let them.
Sounds like fundie-sponsored. But who contributed the big money. That's what I still want to know. Who cut the biggest check for this project.
