Senate Votes 98-0 To Add $63 Billion For BushWars
Senate OKs $63 billion for 2 wars

Friday, September 08, 2006
Andrew Taylor
Associated Press

Washington - The Senate agreed to spend an additional $63 billion for military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan as lawmakers on Thursday passed a massive bill that finances the Pentagon.

The bill sailed through by a vote of 98-0 after senators added money to help track down al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and fight the opium trade in Afghanistan that is helping fuel the Taliban's resurgence.

The overwhelming support for the overall bill and the money to support U.S. troops in harm's way came despite increasing criticism by Democrats of the Bush administration's handling of the war in Iraq.

4. Where's the Senate
approval for health care? I, and 40-50million others, can't afford/get health care and these Congresscritters keep on pumping money into this illegal invasion and occupation and into Halliburton's coffers. Screw the criticisms stop the funding and pay for the social programs. Talk is very cheap and complicity is very costly.

5. It looks that way, doesn't it?
Are they afraid that the rethugs will say that they "don't support the troops"?

This makes me absolutely sick to my stomach.
Will we ever recover from this fucking disaster?

Impeach the idiot...NOW!
