Question: do cable boxes and TIVO track these things? If so, it'd be a great statement if enough people did it. Anyone know?

2. Already done. And I told Der Mausenfuherer that I did it.

Actually, I've had WCVB blocked since 2000, when they started carrying the "Doctor" Laura show. I'd been watching the Providence, RI ABC station instead.

3. I have DirectTv - do they track this?

if it gets into their "metrics" about channels watched/blocked I will do it in a heartbeat!
