We need a picture of Mickey Mouse caught in a mouse trap - catching him by the tail just as we're catching Disney for their "tale".

...but good luck finding it. It's Mickey Mouse in a mousetrap...don;t remember all of the specifics because I gave it a quick glance as I was leaving the thread.

Maybe someone else will read this and remember the pic I'm talking about, and can direct you to it.

23. The is no harm in the opening moves. We were almost sued

by Godzilla's lawyer because the press nicked Doug, "Dougzilla" and I put up a bunch of cartoons with a "dougzilla" figure. It was sort of hilarious, getting served by Godzilla!

But, the lawyer wanted to make some $ by serving me and I'm sure she did. We had an extended conversation in which I got to explain the history of finned monsters and she went away.

If we're careful, it won't be a problem. Of course, most of my family makes their living from the fine arts and we try to be as careful of the work of others as we are of our own.

But, in these cases, there is plenty of warning before there are real consequences.

Mickey Rat would have no problem rubbing out a damn Disney icon if it helped rein in the corporate powers unleashed in this nation. In fact his creator, Robert Armstrong, is one of the few people to dance close to the copyright infringment thingy and never get stung. Mickey Rat lives for danger. Hey, it's a dog eat dog world, and beer is in the food pyramid, somewhere, right?
